As part of Marvellous Foundation’s pledge to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2, 3 and 11 we contributed 100 hens to the development of small urban farming in the local community of Mathare, This farm is now home to over 100 Hens and Chicken’s which will provide fresh produce locally, this will greatly reduce carbon emission, create sustainable communities, promote health and wellbeing and aid in the fight against hunger.

By connecting local livestock farmers with Good Samaritan Childrens Home we aim to help build on their urban farming project. Our goal is to help them create a hyper-local source of produce and build a sustainable localised economy that will serve the Childrens Home and the people of Mathare.
